Steps to Be a Successful IECP Student

Many IECP students are studying in the IECP, but not all students are successful. Here are five important steps to become a successful the IECP student. First of all, you have to set goals in IECP. Successful IECP students each have their own goals for studying English. People can’t succeed without goals. No goal means no success. Secondly, of course you have to earnestly attend classes, and you shouldn’t be late or absent without a valid reason. In fact, the longer you have consistent attendance, the better your English ability becomes. Third, you also must study hard at home. You can study at home by watching TV, listening to music, reading books, and of course, doing your homework. For example, if you watch news on TV every day, it will become easy for you to listen to a native speaker’s English. Fourth, you should make as many friends as you can. Talking with your friends gives you many chances to speak English, so you can practice speaking English naturally. In particular, American friends such as roommates and volunteer instructors can teach you many things besides what you learn in class. Finally, you should enjoy your American experience every day. Enjoying your experience is the most efficient way to learn because it increases your motivation. For instance, the subjects that you find interesting are easy for you to remember. This may be the most important thing when studying English. In summary, you need to put forth effort and have interest as was described in these steps in order to be a successful IECP student.
