Steps to Be a Successful IECP Student
Many IECP students are studying in the IECP, but not all students are successful. Here are five important steps to become a successful the IECP student. First of all, you have to set goals in IECP. Successful IECP students each have their own goals for studying English. People can’t succeed without goals. No goal means no success. Secondly, of course you have to earnestly attend classes, and you shouldn’t be late or absent without a valid reason. In fact, the longer you have consistent attendance, the better your English ability becomes. Third, you also must study hard at home. You can study at home by watching TV, listening to music, reading books, and of course, doing your homework. For example, if you watch news on TV every day, it will become easy for you to listen to a native speaker’s English. Fourth, you should make as many friends as you can. Talking with your friends gives you many chances to speak English, so you can practice speaking English naturally. In particular, American friends such as roommates and volunteer instructors can teach you many things besides what you learn in class. Finally, you should enjoy your American experience every day. Enjoying your experience is the most efficient way to learn because it increases your motivation. For instance, the subjects that you find interesting are easy for you to remember. This may be the most important thing when studying English. In summary, you need to put forth effort and have interest as was described in these steps in order to be a successful IECP student.

The Music Groups' Clothing

Music groups in the U.S.A wear different types of clothing for various reasons. There are three main fashions types of music groups wear. First, punk bands wear ripped clothing because ripped clothing is simple for poor people. For example, they wear ripped jeans, and they wear theatrical makeup because they want to be like demons. Also, they color their faces by using weird colors. Second, hip-hop bands wear baggy jeans to show that they are gangsters. For example, they wear loose jeans to show their butts better. Also they wear a lot of jewelries, so they can show people that they are wealthy such as Lil Wayne who wears a long gold chain. Third, grunge bands wear stonewashed jeans because they want to resurrect the old fashions. For example, the band, Nirvana wears baseball caps backward, so they look like the people existing in the 1990s. In conclusion, these are the reasons why music groups wear different types of clothes, and the American people have divided into these three main types of music groups.

Pg.32 Try It Out

Gongitsune
A fox named Gon lived alone on a mountain. He liked to cause mischief. One day, he found a man catching fish in a river. “That`s Hyoju. I’ll cause mischief to him because I have got nothing to do,” Gon said to himself.  Gon snuck up to Hyoju`s fish and stealthily released them. However, when Gon was releasing an eel he was sighted by Hyoju, and ran away with the eel. Ten days later, when Gon was walking in the village, he found Hyoju and people attending a funeral in a house. He thought, “Probably that house is Hyoju’s. He was living with his mother, so it was Hyoju’s mother who died. Now Hyoju is alone like me.” That night he thought at home “Hyoju was catching fish for his mother. It might be her last hope. I did a very terrible thing.” The next day, he robbed some fish from fish a seller and put them in Hyoju’s house. He thought, “Today, I did a good deed.” That night, he happily looked into Hyoju’s house, but Hyoju looked down. Hyoju muttered, “Who put these fish in my house. I was hit by a fish seller who thought I robbed him.” Gon thought, “Oh no! I made a mistake.” After that, he picked many chestnuts and mushrooms from a mountain and put them in Hyoju’s house every day. Hyoju said to his friends, “I wonder who brings me chestnuts and mushrooms every day.” His friend said, “Maybe someone who has pity on you gives them to you, or maybe God is bringing you happiness.” Gon heard this, and he sulked a little. “It is I who give you them,” he thought. One day, he went to Hyoju’s house as always, and Hyoju was working at home. Suddenly Hyoju saw Gon and said, “That is the fox that released my fishes.” Then he took his gun, and he shot Gon. Gon fell down there. After that, Hyoju noticed that Gon had many chestnuts and mushrooms. “It’s you that give them to me.” Gon nodded slowly, and then he died. Hyoju dropped his gun and became very sad. The gun was still smoking.
